Position Overview

As a Strategic Planner at Mabbly, you will play an essential role the development and execution of data-driven strategies for our clients. You will collaborate closely with account leaders, digital analysts and creative teams to ensure that strategic initiatives are aligned with client objectives and are effectively implemented. This position reports into the Senior Strategy Director, but will involve a lot of autonomy. The role requires a blend of analytical thinking, storytelling, and leadership to drive purpose-driven work through insights. You will be an excavator, a distiller, a connector, and an inspiration agent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Assist in the creation of comprehensive brand strategies, including roadmaps, creative briefs, guidelines, and communication frameworks.
  • Research and Analysis: Recommend research strategies, conduct qualitative and quantitative research, compile and present key insights that inform strategic direction.
  • Storytelling & Sales of Thinking: Synthesize learning from a wide range of sources into a compelling story that connects the dots in an intuitive and compelling manner.
  • Client Collaboration: Participate in strategic discussions with clients to understand their business objectives and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with account, analytics and creative teams to ensure seamless execution of strategies across various digital marketing channels.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the effectiveness of implemented strategies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
    • Approximately 5 years of experience in strategy development, or agency planning. Experience in channel strategy, campaign management, content strategy or related roles within a B2B SaaS or technology environment a plus.
    • Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
    • A collaborative mindset with a willingness to wear multiple hats and adapt to changing priorities.
    • An innate curiosity that compels you to dig deeper, empathise harder, and challenge conventional assumptions in the pursuit of meaningful solutions.
    • Experience using LLMs as a strategic tool.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present information tailored to different audiences.
    • Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
